When you see civil workers keeping the bridge wet you know that the temperature outside is over 30° C and by cooling it keeps working. (Hard lesson learned here in the past but of course a temporary solution). One for Signs, Signs here .

Just a little earlier in the year. Normal workday. Sunshine. Everywhere on the water and canals you find boats from people just enjoying the weather. They don't have to work or going to school? Who knows. Only in Amsterdam. By the way, the floating plants are to better the quality of the water .

This landmark of american architecture by Frank Lloyd Wright , build between 1936 and 1939 may not be missing in a post about water. The house in the neighborhood of Pittsburg, stretches out over a 30' waterfall and is called house of Fallingwater. The client, the Kaufmann family had on this spot a summer camp for the employees of their department stores in Pittsburg. Today it is a national historic landmark.

After a revision of it's motor's time to take the "Jan v.d.Heyde III "for a test. It's the boat of the  Amsterdam firebrigade to extinct all kind of fires in the habour, the channels and everywhere water to float. Everything on the boat can be lowered so that even the smallest bridges can be crossed .
