In the courtyard of the Andaz hotel Amsterdam you will find this mural designed by Marcel Waanders and painted by Iwaarden Artwork. By the way, the hotel is located in the old main library of Amsterdam on the Prinsengracht. One for Sami's Colourful World here.

Hotel on a boat
If you can't find a hotel room in Amsterdam overrun by tourists perhaps this botel is something in the harbor on the north side of the city. Even the characters contain a room and some pretty good restaurants nearby.
Like this one "Loetje" with speciality steak with bread and gravy.
Fabulous view on the Y. Strange enough always nearly full and mostly with dutch people.

New Hotel
On the other side of the Gooi lake is the village Huizen situated. Here seen from Almere.
All the houses on the first photo are from a Hotel chain called Fletcher situated at the head of the old harbour. ( Just a few years old)
The rooms are situated in little houses like an old fisher village as Huizen was a long time ago.
I must say that it looks a bit Disney.

Hotel lobby
If the lobby of your hotel gives such an opportunity you can't pass it as here in the Harlequin hotel in Castlebar Ireland.
